Bug Fixes

BookmarkSync won't invoke AutoDial when syncing on Windows 98
If AutoDial is configured in Dial-up Networking on Windows 98, BookmarkSync would incorrectly invoke it during the synchronization process. The result is either an annoying pop-up every forty-five minutes or so, or an extremely large phone bill. This has been corrected.
Robust handling of bookmarks added by third-party software
Bookmarks added by third-party installation software (like iDrive, for instance) are sometimes not in the approved browser format. BookmarkSync is now more forgiving in errors in the browser's bookmark file. This change now allows people using iDrive to use BookmarkSync.
Reduced Memory/Resource usage
URLs managed by BookmarkSync are compressed in memory, resulting in a smaller memory footprint. Several minor memory leaks are also fixed: BookmarkSync can take up excessive memory if left on for months with frequent bookmark editing.
More efficient Netscape bookmark monitoring
BookmarkSync 'wakes up' every couple of seconds when Netscape is running because of changes Netscape makes to the profile directory. Rather than scanning the bookmark file for changes, BookmarkSync now just looks at the file modification date. The result is far less CPU utilization by BookmarkSync while Netscape is running.
